Behavior Modification: Behaviors include, but are not limited to: Jumping, Chewing, Digging, Barking, Biting, Taking Things, Housebreaking, Not Coming When Called, Charging The Door, Aggressive Behavior (around the food bowl, toys, and other possessions), and Walking on a leash without pulling. The Consultation is an in-home, hands on Behavior Modification session that addresses and cures unwanted behavioral problems. The owner is shown the correct way to work with the dog and redirect his behavior. The owner is then instructed to repeat the techniques learned in the session until the dog realizes that his actions causes the same reaction, every time. Results are seen immediately. Most behaviors are completely cured in less than 2 weeks. The Consultation runs two to two and a half hours. Training equipment is not required for any behavioral issue, but is necessary for the heeling phase of the Consultation.
Cost: $150.00 .....................................2 dogs from the same family:$175.00 Limit 2 dogs from the same household. Cost of training equipment is additional if purchased through JCM's.
Aggressive Dogs: $250.00
For training to be effective, the dog must display the unwanted behavior during the consult. In other words, if the puppy doesn't wet, dig, chew, etc. during the session, nothing can be done hands on to correct the problem. The owner can only be given instructions as to what to do when the problem does occur. There is a $25.00 charge for any follow up visits to address the same issues. Results are guaranteed. If a marked improvement is not seen by the end of the Consultation, there will be no charge. However, a $25.00 travel time fee will apply.
4 week Partial Private
The Partial Private is a 4 week, in-home program. In addition to addressing all behavior problems in the Consultation, the Partial Private also covers the first 4 weeks of Obedience commands. Heeling, Sit Stay, Down Stay, and Drop in Motion.
The first class of the Partial Private lasts about 2 hours, then once a week for an hour for the remaining 3 weeks. Training equipment is necessary for this program and can be purchased through JCM's. The owner must work the dog everyday on the lessons being taught.
At the owners home:$350.00...........2 dogs from the same family:$400.00 Limit 2 dogs from the same household. At the trainers facility: $300.00.........2 dogs from the same family:$350.00 Limit 2 dogs from the same household.
8 week Private Lessons
The 8 Week Private course is a complete in-home program. In addition to addressing all behavior problems covered in the Consultation and the first 4 weeks of Obedience commands, (Heeling, Sit Stay, Down Stay, and Drop in Motion), the 8 Week Private covers the remaining 4 lessons: Stand For Exam, Figure 8, Recall, and Finish. Off leash Heeling is also included in the 8 Week Private.
The first class of the 8 Week Private lasts about 2 hours, then once a week for an hour for the remaining 7 weeks. Training equipment is included for the first dog *at no charge* in this program. The owner must work the dog everyday on the lessons being taught.
At the owner's home: $700.00.........2 dogs from the same family: $800.00 Limit 2 dogs from the same household.
At the trainer's facility: $650.00.......2 dogs from the same family:$750.00 Limit 2 dogs from the same household.
